Words From friends, teachers, classmates and parents……
I learned from him that I should always talk to others when others won’t ♥ He stole my heart when he was 5 ♥ Ben was the person who would go out of his way to help others ♥ I was bullied a lot. No one would talk to me much. But Ben would come up to me, talk to me, and be nice to me ♥ They say you aren’t supposed to have favorites. Well, it isn’t true. Ben was certainly one of mine that sweet smile melted my heart; He never walked by me without giving me a hug! ♥ He was sweet, kind, nice and thoughtful ♥ He never saw differences and would play with anyone…boy or girl ♥ He always knew how to put a smile on my face ♥ A special kiddo like Ben is a gift that I will never forget ♥ I will love Ben forever! It was my honor to be Ben’s teacher ♥ Ben touched the hearts of so many ♥ He was very caring, honest, and funny ♥ I remember Ben always being there for me when I needed someone ♥ He saved my life and I wouldn’t be here without him. I love you Ben ♥ He always put a smile on everyone’s face including mine ♥ Ben had an incredible impact on the life of our son that will last his whole life. Ben poured encouragement and energy into him making him feel not only accepted, but in fact quite cool and even spectacular ♥ He always had the class laughing ♥ He was a wonderful person and was always there to brighten everyone’s day in ceramics ♥ Ben was the first person to talk to me in first grade ♥ He was very caring, honest, and funny ♥ He was loved by so many people at many different schools ♥ Our son doesn’t talk about a lot of people from school, but Ben was one that he spoke of often ♥ Our son struggles with ADHD and emotional disorders, so a lot of kids don’t understand him and get easily annoyed with him. But Ben was one of the few that were still nice to him. There is no doubt that Ben helped him with his social struggles and he is a better person having known your son ♥ He cared so genuinely about everyone he met ♥ Ben made our grade feel whole ♥ He always knew how to put a smile on my face; Ben- I miss you so much you have no idea how you helped me throughout the years of elementary ♥ He was so loved at Turpin ♥ Mercer would not have been Mercer without him and even more for Turpin ♥ It was a joy to watch him as an athlete and he will be remembered by his smile ♥ Skiing with him and I had the best conversation I’ve ever had ♥ I remember in first grade his favorite color was pink, after that all the other boys favorite color was pink ♥ One of the kindest, most responsible, fearless, loving, and memorable young men I have every known ♥ Ben has two smiles that I will always remember. A charming smile and then the grin when he was up to something that he shouldn’t be up to ♥ I feel like I’ve lost one of my own but Ben’s memory will always be a blessing to me ♥ He always knew how to include people and always stood up for everyone ♥ Ben could make you laugh when you thought you would never smile again! ♥ He could make anyone smile and he was an amazing athlete ♥ I always thought to myself that I hoped my son would grow up to be as wonderful as he was! ♥ Ben lit up an entire room ♥ You had the biggest and best personality there was ♥ Ben was a stud and such a beautiful young man ♥ Every time someone spoke his name it only meant good things ♥
